Scranton, PA – Applications for the 2011 Lackawanna County Community Arts and Culture Grant program are now available. Individuals and organizations may apply for up to $3,000 for a project taking place in Lackawanna County. Instructions and applications, which are due Oct. 15, are on the county web site at www.lackawannacounty.org.

The Lackawanna County Department of Elections, currently located at 135 Jefferson Ave., Scranton, will move to its new location at 2400 Stafford Ave., Scranton, on Monday, June 28.

Lackawanna County Holds Art Camp at Trolley Museum
Scranton, PA – An art camp for children ages 7 through 12 will be held at the Electric City Trolley Museum from July 26 through July 30 from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp will feature painting, drawing, clay and printmaking activities, along with a photography workshop, journaling, trolley ride and more.

Scranton, PA – The Lackawanna County Commissioners, in conjunction with the Lackawanna County Department of Arts and Culture, are providing music at the Cooperative Farmer’s Market of Scranton, located off Providence Road and Albright Avenue, through September. Music will be offered Mondays from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
