County Project Artist in Paper Today

This Times-Tribune article on the “Railroad Perspectives” photography exhibit, created by artist Claire Marcus, was funded by a 2013 grant from The Lackawanna County Department of Arts & Culture.  Ms. Marcus’ work will be on display at both The Catlin House and The Steamtown National Historic Site through May 28.

Lackawanna County Commissioners Honor Rep. Ed Staback On His Retirement

Lackawanna County Commissioner Jim Wansacz, left, presents a proclamation to Ed Staback in recognition of his retirement as a State Representative in the 115th Legislative District. Mr. Staback served 14 terms in the House and was a member of the Gaming Oversight, Finance, Judiciary, Consumer Affairs, Appropriations and Rules Committees. A Sturges resident, he received numerous honors for his legislative work, civic involvement, and commitment to the people of both his district and Lackawanna County.
