McDade Park
McDade Park, created in the 1970s from reclaimed coal mining terrain, is now Lackawanna County’s premier destination park with the addition in 2009 of the Boundless Playground. 

 

 

 

Aylesworth Park
Nestled in the upper valley, Aylesworth Park was created as the result of a U.S. Army Corp of Engineers dam control project in 1970.
