County Closed, Elections Open

Lackawanna County offices and courts will be closed for Primary Election Day, but the Department of Elections and Voter Registration will be working to conduct the election and to answer questions dealing with any problems that might arise during the polling. County judges also will be available at the Lackawanna County Government Center, 123 Wyoming Ave., to address any legal issues relative to the election.

Also, a drop box to return mailed ballots will be available in the government center lobby until polls close at 8 p.m.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
