| The function of this office is to collect fines and costs for criminal cases in Common Pleas Court. |

This office sets up payment plans and monitors payments to assure that they are made on a monthly basis. When payments are not made, contempt of court hearings are scheduled by this office. Failure to appear for hearings results in a Bench Warrant which is filed with the Lackawanna County Sheriff's Office.
