| The Voter Machines Office is responsible for the maintenance and dispersion of all County voter machines. |

| Lackawanna County uses over 350 voting machines. This office is responsible for the maintenance and dispersal of these machines on both Election Days. It is also responsible for the ballot coordination and candidate lever position which is distinct for each municipality throughout the County. If a machine is impounded for recount, the Voter Machines office is locked down and guarded 24 hours a day.
