| To coordinate all of Lackawanna County’s planning, economic and community development programs, Commissioners Michael Washo and Corey O’Brien established the Department of Planning and Economic Development. The Department oversees Lackawanna County’s Office of Economic and Community Development, Governmental and Community Affairs, as well as the work of the Lackawanna County Regional Planning Commission and the Lackawanna County Redevelopment and Industrial Development Authorities. Mr. Harry D. Lindsay serves as the Director of the Department of Planning and Economic Development. |
