| Lackawanna County Health Care Center is a 272 bed, two story, well maintained facility located on Terrace Drive in Peckville, PA. We offer a pleasant home like atmosphere to residents and take pride in helping residents reach their highest attainable individual goals. We specialize in skilled care and short term rehabilitation. Our facility features a 60-bed, special care unit which allows the resident to express him or herself in an open and free, yet supervised environment. We offer excellent 24 hour nursing care and residents benefit from attention paid to their physical, psychological, emotional and social needs. We assure each resident the utmost in dignity and respect they deserve. |

| Support Services, dietary, activity and therapy services accommodate the ability and needs to each resident with special services, functions and activities, aimed at preserving and/or enhancing independence, self-functioning and self worth. Along with our Social Services Department, our Admissions Director will assure a smooth transition to the facility by working with the residents, family and other outside health care agencies. Family and friends are welcomed throughout the day. Volunteer groups are most encouraged, providing additional socialization as well as one-on-one visitation to our residents. Our hope is that each resident feels they are part of a warm and loving family. Residents are encouraged to avail themselves of the beauty salon, religious services area, courtyard with gazebo, arts and crafts room, library and billiard room and the many common areas where visitors may meet and spend a special moment with their loved one.
