Last year The LCDC Executive Director, Pedro Gonzalez, organized the first public community Cinco de Mayo celebration in the city of Scranton. Lackawanna County Commissioners Robert Cordaro and A.J. However, due to construction on the square, this year’s celebration was invited to be held at Scranton High School’s Memorial Stadium.

The Latin Cultural Diversity Center welcomes all communities, cities, and townships to this one day event filled with food, entertainment and activities for the whole family.

Sponsors include: Goya, PNC Bank, Best Buy, University of Scranton, McDonald’s, and Melanian News.
