The Library Board of Lackawanna County are appointed by the Board of Commissioners, and the meetings are held every two months at the Children’s Library.
Board Members
Seven members serve three year staggered terms.
There are seven (7) expired terms on the board currently; the existing board is:

Meetings
All meetings are scheduled for 6:00 PM on the second Monday of the month, unless there is a holiday on that date. Meetings will be held virtually or in hybrid format for the foreseeable future. When in-person meetings resume, they will be held in the Community Room in the basement of the Lackawanna County Children’s Library. Work sessions are scheduled for 6 PM on the Thursday preceding the board meeting, unless there is a holiday on that date.
