“Good Works” By Habitat For Humanity

Habitat For Humanity, a world leader in bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope for families in need, was awarded a “Good Works” certificate by the Lackawanna County Commissioners for its efforts. The organization aids families affected by disasters or other conflicts. Recently, 100 Scranton volunteers gathered in late June to help upgrade a section of housing in West Scranton as part of the “Paint The Town” initiative.
