Commissioners Welcome Kato To The Force

The Lackawanna County Commissioners welcome Kato, center, a herding dog from Holland, to the Sheriff’s force. Born in the Czech Republic, Kato is a certified bomb and patrol dog, who will be utilized to detect explosives and handle general inspection work. He can also apprehend suspects or felons upon command of his handler, Deputy Ryan DeLuccie, inside left.
