Trolley Museum Hosts Trolley Runs to SWB Yankees Games

Scranton, PA – Lackawanna County’s Electric City Trolley Museum will once again provide trolley runs to select Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees baseball games starting with the June 19 game against the Columbus Clippers.

Trolley rides only are $11. For a special excursion price of $20, riders also receive a game ticket and SWB Yankees baseball hat. All runs with the exception of the Sunday, Sept. 4 trip depart from the Steamtown Platform near the museum at 12:15 p.m. for the 1:05 p.m. game.

The museum offers regular scenic excursions along a portion of the former Laurel Line route through October 30 at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m. on Thursdays through Sundays.

  • Sunday, Aug. 28 – Pawtucket Red Sox
  • Sunday, Sept. 4 – Buffalo Bisons, 4:05 p.m. game time, trolley departs 3:15 p.m. at Cedar Avenue and Laurel Line Drive in downtown Scranton. Parking is available along Laurel Line Drive. Please do not park at Steamtown as it closes at 5 p.m.
