Abington Little League Receives Major Community Re-Invest Funding From Commissioners

A check for $20,000 from the Lackawanna County Community Re-Invest Program was presented to Abington Little League officials by the Lackawanna County Commissioners for the new park/play area project. Two play sets, swings and benches were installed at the complex in Glenburn Township with new fencing to also be added soon. Since its inception, the Re-Invest program has funded 71 projects totaling $1,105,610, which have changed the face of numerous Lackawanna County communities.
