Lackawanna County Commissioners Honor Captain James Robeson

The Lackawanna County Commissioners presented a proclamation to members of Captain James Robeson’s family during a ceremony naming the road leading up to Scranton’s Isaac Tripp Elementary School in his honor. Captain Robeson was electrocuted in 2008 while fighting a fire. He held numerous positions in the fire department and was very active in the community, raising funds for several area non-profit organizations. He will forever be remembered as a true hero.
