Commissioners Support The “Original Coney Island”

The “Original Coney Island” was a recipient of a $7,507.50 Lackawanna County Small Business Administration (SBA) fee waiver check, which was utilized for purchasing an existing restaurant, creating three new jobs and retaining 15 current employees. The total SBA loan amount for the project was $347,000. The Commissioners created the fee waiver program in November 2012 and to date it has paid $298,000 in fees for 32 projects.
