Temporary Offices To Open In The County Administration Building

Lackawanna County will open temporary offices in the Administration Office Building, 200 Adams Avenue, to serve the public for the remainder of this week.

The following Gateway offices – Controller, Recorder of Deeds, Treasurer, Tax Claim, Assessors, and Community & Economic Development – which were impacted by the storm, will be temporarily located in the third floor Conference Room of the Annex Building.

Two employees from each department will be on hand to serve needs of residents, legal professionals and business executives.

The hours will be 9 am to 4 pm – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Normal operations are expected to resume in the Gateway Building, Jefferson Avenue, on Monday, August 1.
