Mendicino’s Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Lackawanna County Commissioner Patrick M. O’Malley, right, presented a proclamation to members of the Mendicino Pizza & Family Restaurant to mark its 30th anniversary. Located in Covington Township, the business has grown from a take-out operation to a full-service restaurant, offering a variety of traditional dishes made from family recipes. Mendicino’s offers both on-site and off-site catering and is a major supporter of community fund raisers.
