2017 Trim A Tree Winners

All Saints Academy Finishes First In The County’s “Trim A Tree” Challenge

Wayne Hiller, left, the Lackawanna County Trolley Museum and Facilities Manager, presents a plaque and prize to Cathy Mineo of All Saints Academy.  The school finished in first place in the Lackawanna County Electric City Trolley Museum’s “Trim A Tree” Challenge.   Students from area districts were involved in the decorating competition.  The Christmas trees were displayed over the holidays at the museum where visitors judged and voted for their favorite one.

St. Gregory’s Kindergarten Captures Second Place In Tree Decorating Contest

The Lackawanna County Electric City Trolley Station & Museum recognized the winners and schools who participated in its “Trim A Tree” Challenge. Students from area districts were involved in the decorating competition.  The Christmas trees were displayed over the holidays at the museum where visitors judged and voted for their favorite one.  St. Gregory’s kindergarten finished second in the contest.

St. Mary’s of Mount Carmel Captures Third Place In “Trim A Tree” Event

Erin Paciotti, right, of St. Mary’s accepts a plaque and prize from Wayne Hiller, the Lackawanna County Trolley Museum and Facilities Manager, for the school’s third place finish in the Electric City Trolley Museum’s “Trim A Tree” Challenge.  Students from area districts were involved in the decorating competition.  The Christmas trees were displayed over the holidays at the museum where visitors judged and voted for their favorite one.

Honorable Mention For Riverside Elementary East In County Tree Contest

Riverside Elementary East won Honorable Mention in the Lackawanna County Electric City Trolley Station & Museum’s inaugural “Trim A Tree” Challenge.  Students from area schools were involved in the competition.  The Christmas trees were displayed over the holidays at the museum where visitors judged and voted for their favorite one.
