Sheriff’s Office Lauded For Active Shooters Seminar

The Lackawanna County Commissioners presented a “Good Works” certificate to the Sheriff’s Office staff who recently facilitated the eight session “Active Shooters” seminar series for all County employees. Conducted at Marywood University, the program was designed to educate staff on how to: recognize signs of potential threats; protect/defend themselves, and be cognizant of the surroundings they are in.
