Statement On Judge William Nealon

The Board of Commissioners have ordered flags to half-staff at the Lackawanna County Courthouse and all county facilities through Friday, September 7, 2018, in honor of Judge William J. Nealon, Jr., who died on August 30, 2018.  Judge Nealon served on the county bench from 1960-1962.

“Judge Nealon left an indelible mark on the legal and justice systems.  Lackawanna County is very honored to have had him serve on the federal bench in our community and our deepest condolences are extended to the Nealon family,” the Commissioners stated.

All individuals are encouraged to join in this tribute.
