Two Penn State Extension Lackawanna County 4-H Clubs Forming

Administered in Pennsylvania by Penn State Extension, 4-H is a community of more than 6 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Penn State Extension 4-H youth development educators in all 67 counties throughout the commonwealth administer local 4-H programs through non-formal education and outreach.

The Community Clovers 4-H Club meets at the Carbondale Community Library on the last Thursday of the month at 6 pm.  This year’s projects will focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).  Youth, ages 5 to 18, are welcome to join.

Creative Arts 4-H Club meets on the second floor of the Marketplace at Steamtown on the last Tuesday of the month at 4:30 pm. This club will focus on drawing, beginning sewing, and crafts.  Youth, ages 5 to 18, can join in on the fun.

For more information on the clubs in Lackawanna County, contact Sandi Graham at the Penn State Extension Lackawanna County Office at 570-963-6842 or email [email protected].
