Earth Day 2019 With The Master Gardeners

The PSU Master Gardeners are committed to the values which established Earth Day decades ago. They want people to understand they can have a positive effect on the environment and community.

The Marketplace at Steamtown will be hosting the Master Gardeners on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first floor, center court of the mall, 300 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton.

This is an opportunity to visit with the Master Gardeners for information on composting, growing vegetables, herbs, pollinator gardening and more. They will answer any of your home gardening questions, as well.

There will also be fun, games, prizes, free seedlings, herbs and more.

Special guests for the event include:

  • Lackawanna College Environmental Education Center
