Vietnam War Pinning Ceremony

A grateful community is sponsoring a special program to honor local United States veterans who served in the Vietnam War.

The Lackawanna County Commissioners and its Veterans Affairs Office will hold a pinning ceremony on Saturday, April 27, at 11 AM in the lobby of the Government Center, 123 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton.

All living veterans, who served on active military duty during the November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975 timeframe, are eligible to participate in the program and be recognized with a special Vietnam Veteran lapel pin.

The public is invited to attend the brief ceremony.
