Appeals Deadline Set

The Lackawanna County Assessment Office is reminding all residents that applications for appeals for 2020 tax purposes must be received by 4 PM on August 1.

This deadline will provide ample time for processing all requests.  There will be no exceptions.

Homestead and Farmstead Exclusions Application – “The application for Homestead and Farmstead Exclusions is due between January 1 and March 1.  You can print-out the application and begin the planning process for next year.”
