in accord with the Order of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court dated April 1, 2020 extending the declaration of the Judicial Emergency through April 30, 2020, it is hereby ordered and decreed that, the Judicial Emergency declared in the 45th Judicial District of Pennsylvania shall continue to exist through April 30, 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis

in accord with the Order of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania authorizing this Court to declare a Judicial Emergency in the 45th Judicial District of Pennsylvania, I do hereby declare that a Judicial Emergency exists in this Judicial District and shall continue to exist until April 14, 2020 on account of COVID-19

The Lackawanna County Adult Probation/Parole Office (LCAPP) is committed to protecting the citizens in our community while providing supervision services for all clients on probation, intermediate punishment or parole sentences. Acting as an advocate/broker of community resources, we assist all offenders in basic life skills management to improve their chances of a positive change and a reduction of future criminal activity; to restore the victim to pre crime status and to provide the County Judiciary with precise and succinct information in the form of bail and Presentence reports. This is accomplished by 33 Probation-Parole Officers, a support staff of 8 and the Director of Adult Probation and Parole

If any citizen has information on someone under supervision with this office and suspect there is a probation or parole violation, please call the Adult Probation Office during working hours. You must identify yourself and know the name of the probationer or parolee. All information will be kept confidential. You can also email the receptionist at [email protected] and your email will be forwarded to the supervising officer, but it does need to contain the name of the individual and your name in order for it to receive proper attention.
