Lackawanna County Government Center Penn Avenue Mural Project

Lackawanna County aims to brighten up the back of the Government Center on Penn Avenue (the rear of the building at 123 Wyoming Avenue) between Lackawanna Avenue and Biden Street. The deadline to apply is Sunday, July 31, at midnight.

The theme of the project is Lackawanna County: Past, Present and Future. Currently there are seven individual corrugated metal panels on the wall. The county is seeking to commission two to three artists to design and implement a mural directly on the metal. The application can be found here, or on the Arts & Culture page.
